Dentistry wouldn’t be what it is today if it wasn’t for all of the innovative instruments and equipment available, and Dr. Mockler is proud to have access to some of the best readily available technologies. These tools allow her to provide a wide range of comprehensive treatments for her patients, but more importantly, they also allow her to help set up their smiles for long-term oral wellness while keeping them involved with the process. Here’s a closer look at some of the devices she’ll use to tend to your dental healthat our Campbell practice:

Digital Impressions

In the past, gooey, puddy-like material was used to create impressions of teeth, which wasn’t just an uncomfortable process for patients but also came with a fair margin for error. Using our iTero Lumina scanner, we can make this process faster, more comfortable, and incredibly precise. This special tool creates a detailed digital image of your smile that acts as a reference guide for your future restoration, meaning that it will fit perfectly and look completely natural.

It also plays an integral role in helping patients maintain their ongoing dental health. Dr. Mockler scans every patient who comes in with this device, allowing her to keep accurate tabs on each smile’s progress so that treatment can be further tailored as needed. By seeing how teeth have shifted and worn down, as well as how gums have receded or the bite has changed, it becomes even easier to begin discussing treatment options.

Intraoral Camera

In dentistry, there is always the need to look more closely at a particular area – and that’s just a brief way of describing everything our Claris 4D intraoral camera can do. Since we use it with our iTero scanner, we can take detailed photos of the three-dimensional scans we take of your smile, and then show you them on a nearby monitor. This is a major part of our treatment planning, as it allows us to ensure we’re addressing all issues thoroughly. Better yet, it lets us show you exactly what’s going on and helps us clearly walk you through the treatment process; you won’t be left guessing and you’ll have a clear idea of where you’re smile’s health is heading.

Pearl AI Software

The power of artificial intelligence makes it easier than ever for our team to analyze dental X-rays! Our Pearl AI software acts as a second set of eyes for Dr. Mockler, automatically detecting numerous conditions within a patient’s mouth that would otherwise remain hidden. This means that Dr. Mockler can pinpoint more accurate diagnoses and create more successful treatment plans for patients in need while also saving valuable time through the streamlining of her daily workflow. Better yet, the traditional X-ray model becomes a much more vivid, informative visual that benefits patients too!
