After earning her undergraduate degree, Dr. Mockler explored various healthcare professions, drawn by her passion for helping and caring for others. She ultimately chose dentistry because it allowed her to combine her love for science with the ability to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Beyond her passion, she was also drawn to dentistry for the work-life balance it offers, enabling her to build a fulfilling career while prioritizing her own family.

Dr. Mockler has also taken art classes her entire life and loved creating things with her hands. Once she realized that’s what dentistry can be all about, like putting a broken tooth back together and restoring missing teeth, as well as helping people smile again, she knew it was the right career choice for her!

Dr. Mockler completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California – Santa Barbara before attending dental school at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She graduated in 2010 and went on to work in private practice in the Bay Area. Over the last decade, she has been working in digital dentistry, harnessing the power of CAD/CAM software and other advanced technologies in her office.

Between 2012 and 2018, Dr. Mockler also went back to teach at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry as an assistant professor in clinical radiology. During that time, she went on two mission trips to Jamaica with dental students as a supervising faculty member.

Whenever Dr. Mockler isn’t at the dental office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Denis. Together, they go to country music concerts, SCUBA dive, ski and snowboard. They also enjoy spending time with Moose, who’s their three-year-old giant schnauzer/poodle. They got her on their honeymoon as a puppy, and these days, she’s always trying to catch one of the squirrels that lives in the trees next to their house!

An interesting fact about Dr. Mockler is that she was born without any wisdom teeth!
